2. What we collect
We collect the following personal data:
- Purchase information: When you buy a Trigr licence, our payment provider Paddle collects your name, email address, billing address, and payment details. Paddle shares your name and email address with us so we can deliver your licence key and provide support.
- Licence activation: When you activate a licence key in Trigr, we record the licence key, the email it is tied to, and the activation timestamp.
- Update checks: Trigr periodically checks for updates by requesting our update manifest hosted on GitHub. GitHub may log standard request metadata (IP address, user agent).
- Support correspondence: If you email us, we retain the contents of that correspondence to provide support.
- Website analytics: usetrigr.com may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic. No personally identifying information is stored.
3. What we do NOT collect
- Trigr does not transmit your keystrokes, clipboard contents, macro definitions, or text expansions to us or any third party. All such data is stored locally on your device.
- Trigr's local usage analytics (e.g. macro execution counts) are stored in a local SQLite database on your machine and are not sent to us.

6. Data retention
We retain purchase and licence data for as long as your licence is active, and for up to 7 years thereafter to meet tax and accounting obligations. Support correspondence is retained for up to 3 years.

Some of our processors (e.g. GitHub, Netlify) are based outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards including standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
